Rei hugs her new pokemon.
"Yay! Hello new sister! Welcome to the party!"
She sets her down. Sol comes floating in after trying to spook some nearby wildlife, and sees Rei hugging a new little pokemon with the same style outfit as her.
"Look Sol! We've got a long lost twin!"
Sol looks back and forth between the two, feigning confusion. (He can sense Rei through their connection but where's the fun in that?) He eventually spins his face round and round, acting 'dizzy'. Rei laughs.
"Oh no, he can't tell which is which now! What have we done?"
Rei giggles before setting her down.
"Well we will just have to give you your own style, won't we? Oh! And you need a name too! My little sister... Cereza. How's that sound?"

Cereza informs Rei telepathically that she approves of the name. Oh, did she forget to mention she's telepathic? Woops!
Now with Cereza in tow, Rei and her Pokemon head off to find a new member of the family! What she finds is entirely unexpected. She finds a strange, pink blob that seems to be transforming into people and Pokemon as a service of sorts. They offer it food and trinkets and it will transform into their request. Even objects! Not just transform though, but also put on a performance of sorts.

With her two pokes, Rei heads out and spies a new pokemon seemingly with a job? Rei pauses as her ‘Fun shenanigans’ meter breaks from high readings. She approaches from an angle and watches to see what it does.

It seems like the transforming Pokemon is wrapping up its performance for the day. It returns to its tiny, pink blob form and takes a bow as the crowd begins to disperse. When it sees Rei & Co, it waves at her as it squiggles over to inquire if she caught/enjoyed its performance.

With Cereza's assistance, Ditto the Magnificent is able to give Rei all the details she could want about its performance. Most times, they ask it to turn into themselves or some random nearby object. Occasionally it gets tougher requests, like turning into a Pokemon or object it hasn't seen before. Pokemon transformations are easiest for it, with humans being slightly harder, and objects being the most difficult to attempt. It's been doing this show for at least a few months now, which is how it's been supporting itself. Ditto are an extremely rare breed of Pokemon, after all, and in all its time living, Ditto the Magnificent has yet to encounter another of its kind.

Rei pauses.
"Well that's not using you to your full potential."
She clasps her hands together.
"So I won't say you'd be a fool to not take this offer, because it seems you've made a good life for you, but I have an alternative offer! Come with me, I'll 'employ' you!"
Rei gets close and puts a hand to her mouth to feign keeping the conversation quiet.
"...Mostly for pranks and fun."
She backs back up.
"But it's up to you. And hey, you can constantly turn into a cutie like me! That'll make everyone love ya."
Rei waggles her eyebrows.

Rei balls the ditto as well as Cereza, and notes how quickly she’s gained new Pokémon on her team after going so long with just Sol. Now it’s time to find the others!
